RVH Foundation staff offer a glimpse at the winning Catch the Ace Lottery Ticket during their Week 35 draw on Thursday, September 28th.
A recent trip to Foodland has won Eganville’s Marilyn Hill an impressive amount of money.
That’s where she bought her winning ticket for the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation’s Catch the Ace draw, as the Foundation’s Executive Director, Patti Dillabough, broke the good news while opening envelope #5 during Thursday night’s draw.
Marilyn’s total winnings include the weekly prize of $4,350 and the progressive jackpot of $148,630, coming to a total of $152,980.
Dillabough would go on to let onlookers know that RVH also made out fairly well thanks to the 35-week-long lottery, which helps the hospital keep its equipment up-to-date.
The Foundation’s Executive Director, Patti Dillabough, thanked the fundraiser’s many sponsors and everyone who took the time to play for their cause, adding in a notable announcement about how people can join in the fun when the next run of Catch the Ace rolls around.
The RVH Foundation’s Catch the Ace IV goes into the books having raised $239,383, which will pay for 67 new IV pumps for the hospital.
