“Scratch and Win Lottery Tickets” currently circulating in Arnprior are a hook to connect you to scammers who want to sell you a water filtration system.
There’s always a prize to connect you to an invitation to purchase a special apparatus designed to purify your water of nasty iron or chlorine you didn’t even know was an issue.
The Town of Arnprior tests its water supply regularly and routinely and there is no such issue with quality.
Don’t facilitate any such visit to your residence, and don’t sign any bogus contract no matter how much the scammer may try to pressure you.
Even if you’ve let them in, it’s still your right to kick them out.
