Renfrew Town staff are ready to show off the preliminary designs for the final phase of the Highway 60 reconstruction project.
They’re holding a public consultation at the Visitor Information Centre on Mask Road starting at 7:00pm on Wednesday, September 27th, where residents can learn about upcoming road work along O’Brien Road from between Mask Road and Wrangler Road, ask questions, and give feedback.
The new design for the piece of highway was created by Jp2g Consultants and BT Engineering, and was made possible thanks to funding from the Ministry of Transportation’s Connecting Links program.
Shovels are expected to go in next year, with a roundabout at the highway’s intersection with Innovation Road and Wrangler Road one the main features being installed.
For more information about the consultation, get in touch with Connor Jamieson, Project Manager for the Town of Renfrew, at 613-432-8166, or Steve Webster, the Consulting Engineer with Jp2g Consultants at 613-735-2507.
