After over 37 years of keeping Renfrew comfortable, Sherry-Lynn Shalla is calling it a career.
The owner of McPhail and Perkins Furniture is holding one last sale to clear out stock ahead of retirement and tells myFM News that everything is already planned out when the doors close for the final time later this month.
Shalla says that it’s been “quite the ride” to see generations of families walk through her store’s doors for almost four decades.
She adds that the support from the community as she reduces her stock has been incredible, and that she’s never seen the store as empty as it is now.
The iconic McPhail and Perkins Furniture in downtown Renfrew is expected to close on September 28th.
