The worst outcomes were apparently avoided after a Friday morning car crash near Haley Station.
Renfrew OPP tell myFM that a vehicle attempted to cross Highway 17 from Chenaux Road to Godfrey Road at around 9:30am on Friday, September 15th, when they were t-boned by another car traveling eastbound along the highway.
Police, fire, and paramedics attended the scene to investigate, and the occupants in the vehicle that was struck were sent to the hospital as a precaution with minor injuries.
According to a listener who was at the scene, the highway was not closed due to the incident.
