Chela Breckon is the new Executive Director of the Renfrew County Community Poverty Action Network, joining the organization August 3rd following the retirement of Lyn Smith.
Chela believes her background assisting immigrants relocate, providing anti-bias training, and helping with the Petawawa Swim Team prompt the deeper dive.
She says a raft of statistics only reinforce the obvious realities of inequity.
Chela Breckon thinks the commitment to a more equal society is only enhanced by a healthy dose of athleticism.
The CPAN Executive Director says the network is the thing.
Breckon dove right into the new job, tackling CPAN’s Tools-for-School efforts for 2023.
