Renfrew County Paramedics confirm a serious injury earlier this afternoon on Highway 17 at Calabogie Road.

The accident comes the same day as the newly-reconfigured intersection had opened.
The EMS Chief says this has been a bad week for accidents on Number 17, so be extra careful this long weekend.
