We now know that Monday’s car crash in Cobden was fatal.
Renfrew OPP confirm that at 44-year-old driver is dead after they and emergency services responded to the two-car crash along Highway 17 near Turcotte Road just after 3:20 in the afternoon on Monday.
Two passengers in the vehicle with the deceased, as well as the driver and passenger of the second vehicle were also sent to hospital for serious injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, as Renfrew OPP are asking any witnesses or people with information or dash cam footage of the incident to contact their detachment.
