You have to wonder if the tub of chocolate ice cream was worth it.
The Valley Scoop in Renfrew has let the community know that the two people who broke into their shop overnight on Wednesday have been identified and caught by local police.
They had originally released security footage from inside their shack next to Low Square, where the suspects are seen and heard looking for cash before making off with the ice cream, as well as cones and scoops.
The Valley Scoop thanks everyone for helping to identify them and adds that the matter is now in the hands of the OPP.
