White Lake Dam Beach users were patient with the process of getting new sand, only to be disappointed with its quality.
That’s McNab-Braeside Recreation Director Andrea Lamontagne, who says MNRF paperwork is its own struggle.
Mayor Mark MacKenzie has had an earful or two about the quality of the sand, or the lack thereof.
Lamontagne appreciated the feedback, and indicated she’ll do her best to alleviate the dissatisfaction.
The Mayor indicated the White Lake Dam Beach is the Township’s best for toddlers and the fresh sand should be an imperative regardless of cost- but Deputy Mayor Lori Hoddinott fears the fresh sand may mean a fresh round for the MNRF permitting process.
