An opportunity has come up that might be perfect for an aspiring librarian.
The Renfrew Public Library is looking to hiring for three positions, including a Student Page to help shelve, stock, and maintain books and other materials.
It’s a position specifically for someone either enrolled in secondary school or be home-schooled at a secondary level, and you’ll need to be proficient enough with internet to provide some basic I.T. instruction.
A pair of library technician jobs are also up for grabs, including a full-time position that would also handle duties as their Programming and Outreach Coordinator.
On top of your duties providing services like general referencing, advisory, and circulation services, you would be in charge of engaging the community’s needs and interests with targeted programming for adults, seniors, and teens.
You can see the full job listings, including qualifications and requirements, on the Renfrew Public Library’s website.
Applications are being handled by the County of Renfrew’s Human Resources Department, and will be accepted until 4:00pm on Friday, August 11th.
