The All Hands on Deck Food Drive expanded its reach last year, and we will be doing it again.
96.1 myFM will be taking food donations at the Shawville Giant Tiger, as well as Chris and Tanya’s No Frills and Renfrew Metro, from 10:00am to 6:00pm on Thursday, August 17th.
Account Manager Aline Stukart hopes to see another great turnout in the Pontiac region after spearheading the effort to add the third location in 2022.
Meanwhile, General Manager Bob Dillabough says that there isn’t a better time to start thinking about giving back to our community as we get closer to a busy time for our local foodbanks.
Not sure what to drop off? Dillabough says our volunteers will have you covered when you drop in to any of the three stores.
The hope is to fill the trucks provided by our sponsors for the fundraiser: Layton Knight-Locke Contracting – Plumbing & Heating, Farrell’s Landscaping, and Bristol Auto Performance.
All food and cash raised will go to help both the Renfrew and District Food Bank and Bouffe Pontiac. Cash donations will also be accepted at A Sense of Country in Renfrew and Thompson’s Corner Store in Portage-du-Fort.
