Road construction continues at a number of locations within Renfrew, including near Ma-te-Way Park.
Work to rebuild Joffre Avenue, Haig Avenue, and Dufferin Street has got the roads down to dirt at the moment, but crews will soon begin to pave and add concrete curbs.
The nearly 3 million-dollar project began back in May after being approved by council last year and will include the addition of storm sewers and new watermains by the time it wraps up in late October.
Connor Jamieson, Renfrew’s Director of Infrastructure and Public Works, says everything along the three roads is progressing on time and on budget.
The Town is thanking all residents for their patience as work continues to improve local roads and infrastructure.
