Renfrew's Historic Caboose, which was the target of vandalism back in July of 2023
One of the two people involved in spray painting over Renfrew’s O’Brien Road Caboose has been caught.
Renfrew OPP have been investigating the late-night vandalism on Tuesday, July 24th, that also saw a nearby car wash on Barnet Boulevard defaced.
Officers with the Renfrew Detachment and the Community Street Crime Unit worked together to identify the two suspects.
They have since been able to locate and arrest one of them, a 15-year-old, on two counts of mischief damaging property and one count of disguise with unlawful intent.
The young person has since been released ahead of a court appearance in Pembroke, while police say that their investigation will continue.
