Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement, saying we can expect 30 to 50 millimeters of rainfall. Rainfall amounts may locally exceed 50 millimeters in areas that receive thunderstorms. An additional 15 to 25 mm of rain may occur locally through this afternoon. Heavy rain may also cause flash flooding and ponding on roads. Some flooding is possible in low-lying areas. Be sure to stay with us for the latest.
