We’re getting that much closer to the first ever Music for a Cause, coming to Pembroke’s waterfront park on July 29th. Proceeds will go to support the Robbie Dean Centre. Local bands will be on the stage from 11am until 9pm and one of those performing is Jennifer Gagnon, who tells myFM it’s a pleasure to be involved.
Jake Weckwerth will also be on stage and he mentions how he has a close connection to Robbie Dean himself.
Gagnon is booked in as well and she tells myFM what we can expect to hear.
Weckwerth goes on to say that even during a busy summer, it’s nice to step back and support local.
Jennifer stopped into the myFM studios and was able to give us a sample of her music.
Jake Weckwerth meanwhile plans to take one of his singles to the stage.
