Maloney Road in Renfrew was the recent scene of an assault that led to charges.
Officers with the local OPP detachment responded to a call advising that multiple people were attacked along the road at around 9:30 in the evening back on June 24th.
The suspect had fled the scene by the time police arrived to confirm that there were no serious injuries.
The suspect, 38-year-old Dwayne Reckenberg of Horton, was later located and arrested for the following:
- Assault
- Assault with a weapon, two counts
- Uttering threats- cause death or bodily harm
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, two counts
He would end up being held for bail.
