A lack of fried chicken in Renfrew has some people asking, “What’s Up?”
Commenters have flocked to the “What’s Up Renfrew, Ontario” Facebook group, looking for answers about full-day closures at the downtown KFC that have made getting a finger-licking good meal less than a sure thing during a recent stretch of warm and humid weather in Renfrew.
A former employee who does not want to be named has told myFM that a broken air conditioning unit is to blame and that it was supposed to be fixed by this week.
The hot store has apparently deep-fried the patience of the local staff, who the former employee says have left the company and been replaced in the short term.
We’ve reached out to the regional management for KFC about the closures, but have received no response.
