June 21st is National Indigenous Peoples Day in Canada.
It’s the perfect occasion for Renfrew Mayor Tom Sidney to unveil a commemorative Truth and Reconciliation Bench, and the ceremony will take place (Wednesday) June 21st at 10AM in Low Square in front of Town Hall.
The following day (June 22nd) there will be Indigenous drumming at the same location starting at 6PM.
Both the unveiling and the Indigenous drumming are at Low Square in Renfrew, 127 Raglan Street South.
