The votes have been counted and a list of the worst roads in Ontario has been released. The annual campaign is done by the CAA and is aimed at opening dialogue with decision-makers and driving positive change for safer roads. Assistant Vice-President for South Central Ontario, Teresa Di Felice, says bad infrastructure is far from just a ‘big city’ issue.
Di Felice, says it’s often fairly easy and frustrating to spot bad roads in our community.
Di Felice adds this year, the list has been verified by the Residential and Civil Construction Alliance of Ontario. She also says crumbling infrastructure is always a factor for people voicing their displeasure, but there are some other things considered.
Barton Street East in Hamilton ranked 1st this year, followed by Eglinton Avenue West in Toronto and County Road 49 in Prince Edward County.
