The McDonald’s in Renfrew will be raising money for a good cause this week.
After not being able to take part McHappy Day last year due to renovations at the restaurant, Operations Supervisor Francesca Rakinic says the Renfrew team is ready to go for Wednesday, May 10th.
She tells myFM that a portion of proceeds from food purchases this Wednesday will support Ronald McDonald House Charities, providing spaces for families to stay close to the hospital while their children receive treatment.
Rakinic is quick to point out how much communities in Renfrew County have rallied around McHappy Day each year, adding that the benefits of the campaign are felt right in our own backyard.
On top of the proceeds from food sales on Wednesday, you can also help the cause by picking up a pair of McHappy Day themed socks while supplies last at the O’Brien Road location or make a $2, $5, or $10 donation at the counter to receive a McHappy Day heart which can sign to show your support for the local Ronald McDonald House at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Ottawa.
