The divorce was easier than the settlement, but Arnprior staff are still hopeful of finding a formula to recoup lost revenues from the cancellation of its Joint-Use Recreation Agreement with McNab-Braeside.
The termination of the deal comes as the fiscal year is in progress, and will leave Town coffers short of McNab-Braeside’s flat fee for a six month time-frame.
Is an increase of fifty percent over the Arnprior-resident rate on the one hand, versus the cost of staff time to equitably calculate a new formula on the other something that can be resolved at first crack?
