The Arnprior Lions Pet Value Walk for Dog Guides, seventh annual, is coming up on Sunday May 28th at Robert Simpson Park.
Registration is at 11AM on site, however, spokesperson Diana Lynn Laroque says you can always register beforehand.
Laroque says pledge forms can be found at local Pet Value stores, or they are downloadable.
The Walk for Dog Guides keeps growing in support, and this year’s goal is fifty percent higher than last.
Laroque says there are considerable costs to train just one dog guide.
The Walk for Dog Guides spokesperson says that while older family members participate, there’s entertainment for the younger set.
Diana Laroque says the Walk for Dog Guides is a national event, but local organizations chose the date and time that it takes place.
She says the more the merrier.
