We’ve heard a fair bit about the great service provided to our region by the dedicated team at Renfrew Dispatch- handling 911 calls from Arnprior to Algonquin Park, but as National Emergency Telecommunications Week draws to a close, let’s give a shout out to the Emergency Call Centre (ECC911) of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais Public Security Service- which also serves the two (2) other MRCs in the Outaouais (MRCs Pontiac and Papineau).
Personnel from the ECC911 Collines play a crucial role in daily operations activities and without their dedication, courage and professionalism it would be impossible to function properly.
The recent ice storm was an excellent example of their expertise when it comes to managing calls in massive quantities and emergencies. Salut!
