Some Hydro-Quebec customers will have to wait a bit longer before they finally have the lights back on following last week’s ice storm.
The utility says while more than 90 percent of outages have been resolved, some more complex cases in harder-to-reach areas may not have power restored until tomorrow.
At the peak, more than one million people in Ontario and Quebec were without hydro as the fierce storm coated parts of both provinces with ice.
Officials warning those still without power not to use fuel-burning appliances inside, with Montreal public health reporting 180 cases of carbon monoxide poisoning since Wednesday
