Cast and Crew of "Tom Thomson and The Colours of Canada"
The Stone Fence Theatre is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary season with a pair of original musicals.
The theatre group based out of Rankin has let myFM know that Tom Thomson and the Colours of Canada will return later this year for a ten show tour across the Ottawa Valley.
The story, written by Ish Theilheimer, follows a famous painter’s life and mysterious death in Algonquin Park during the 1910’s. The theatre hopes to use the tour to raise over $20,000 for local hospitals near each stop.
Also from Theilheimer is a new musical comedy called Conspiracy Conniptions, as boy-meet-girl over common conspiracy theories in the fictional Cobtown’s local doughnut shop when it’s 14-show run begins this summer.
On top of that, the Pebbles Youth Theatre Camp returns after a successful first run last year. Registration details are expected soon, with the first meetup in August.
Find tour dates, more information on the shows, and the Theatre Camp on the Stone Fence Theatre’s website.
