Director General Kim Lesage and MRC Pontiac Warden Jane Toller
The Pontiac Region have taken the interim tag off their Director General.
Kim Lesage was given the permanent position at a meeting of the Regional Council of Mayors on Wednesday, February 15th.
Jane Toller, the Warden of the MRC Pontiac, says she is looking forward to working closely with Lesage “to revitalize the Pontiac to ensure that we become a more successful region and to improve the quality of life of our residents.”
Toller also credits Lesage for hitting the ground running after taking over the Director General position from Bernard Roy back in November.
Lesage tells myFM that she’s excited to work closely with elected officials, and that they “will continue to serve our community with quality services” and “vitalize the Pontiac.”
She will continue as Pontiac’s Director of Engineering and Infrastructure until a replacement can be found and plans to oversee a number of major infrastructure projects within the Pontiac area this year.
