Small businesses are feeling the inflation squeeze just like we all are.
Riley Locke, a policy analyst with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business they’re working on improving the current climate for our neighbours and friends running our restaurants and stores.
Locke says they continue to work hard to lobby the provincial and federal governments to help our local businesses, run by members of our communities.
Record inflation has come during three very challenging pandemic years, he notes.
Locke says the best way to help them out is to continue to shop local whenever you can.
