The Ontario Winter Games are looking for some more help in Renfrew this weekend.
Games Chair Peter Emon says they could use an few extra sets of hands to make sure their cross-country skiing and para cross-country skiing events happening around Ma-te-Way Park on Friday, February 10th and Saturday, February 11th run smoothly.
Emon says the sudden drop-outs of volunteers aren’t malicious, sometimes life gets in the way which requires the Games Committee to put the word out.
So far, Emon has heard nothing but positives from coaches, athletes, and spectators when it comes to the volunteer team that the Ontario Winter Games has put together.
