Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning across Eastern Ontario including Renfrew County and the City of Ottawa.
Freezing rain is expected this afternoon and will end tonight with 2 to 5 millimetres of ice accretion.
Snow or ice pellets will transition to a prolonged period of freezing rain.
Environment Canada says freezing rain is expected to change over to rain tonight.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.

- Petawawa – Pembroke – Cobden
- Barry’s Bay – Killaloe
- Ottawa North – Kanata – Orléans
- Ottawa South – Richmond – Metcalfe
