Animals getting onto the road has been a concern for the Killaloe OPP recently.
They say fourteen different collisions involving deer have happened in the area over the past week, and they are urging you to stay in control if you see one in front of you on your commute.
Slow down as much as possible and keep driving straight in order to reduce the chance of rolling your vehicle, which could cause serious damage to both it and yourself.
Police also suggest that to scan ditches near the road for approaching wildlife and if you see one deer, expect more.
Deer can cross the street at any time of day, but you can spot them at night by looking for glowing eyes on the road or nearby.
Lastly, Police say you should also keep your attention on the road and your seatbelt on: if you need to make a sudden stop to avoid wildlife, wearing it will prevent unnecessary injury or death.
