Renfrew County Warden Peter Emon has been appointed to chair the Eastern Ontario Wardens’ Caucus (EOWC) for 2023.
The move came during the caucus’s annual inaugural meeting held on January 12th and 13th.
Peterborough County Warden, Bonnie Clark will serve as the 2023 Vice-Chair, and both individuals were acclaimed to the positions.
Says Emon, “It is an honour to sit on the Caucus once again and be appointed as the 2023 Chair.”
EOWC Vice-Chair Bonnie Clark took office as the Warden of Peterborough County in December 2022. Her career in public service began over twenty years ago as a Township Councillor for then Otonabee Township.
Emon is a former Mayor of Greater Madawaska Township and now sits as Reeve with the Town of Renfrew.
