Two men from Renfrew are facing assault charges. On December 10th, Renfrew OPP said they responded to the call, around 9:30 pm about a possible fight. As a result of the investigation 24-year-old, James McQuade has been charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. Also, 60-year-old Peter William McQuade is charged with two counts of assault with a weapon.
