Police are reaching out to the public for help tracking down a suspected thief after items were stolen from a local charity.
The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP has issued an arrest warrant for 41-year-old Kerrie Lynn Buker of Ottawa after allegedly stealing cash and cheques from the Kiwanis Christmas Toy and Food Drive donation box at the Pembroke Mall.
The OPP plan to charge Buker with theft under $5,000, two counts of failure to comply with probation and two counts of failure to comply with an undertaking.
Police officers say anyone who donated to the Kiwanis Toy and Food Drive by cheque should contact their financial institution.
