Reeve Peter Emon, Mayor Tom Sidney, and Councilperson Clint McWhirter are joined by a crew from Farrell's Landscaping on Thursday, December 15th
Starting this week, drivers heading towards Downtown Renfrew from O’Brien Road will be welcomed in by a new sign.
Town staff, councilmembers, and a crew with Farrell’s Landscaping met at the corner of Hall Avenue and Veterans Memorial Boulevard during the morning Thursday, December 15th to unveil the new eyecatcher.
Town Communications Coordinator Jenna McEwan tells myFM that they chose a space that’s no stranger to historic signage.
McEwan says it’s a project that she’s worked on for some time now.
While this new sign was the main focus of the project, McEwan isn’t ruling out more friendly signage in other spaces within town limits.
She also sends out a big thank you to Farrell’s Landscaping, who stayed on board with the project despite multiple delays on the Town’s end.
