A traffic stop over the weekend got progressively worse for the 26-year-old from Ottawa behind the wheel.
Renfrew OPP pulled their car over along Highway 17 in McNab-Braeside at about 6:20 pm on Sunday, December 4th after getting a report of a suspected drunk driver.
After an investigation, the officers would arrest the driver on four counts:
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand,
- Impaired driving,
- Novice driver refuse to provide breath sample, and
- Having care and control of a motor vehicle with open container of liquor
They would be later released for custody, but will return to Renfrew for a court appearance on January 18th.
