The Grind in Pembroke has had a successful launch of their Out of the Cold initiative. The Grind kicked off their program on December 1st, in an effort to help those in need overnight during the winter months. Jerry Novack with the Grind tells myFM the details.
Novack also tells myFM the program will run seven days a week.
the Grind tells myFM that while the program is great to have, they will be relying on their biggest fundraiser of the year to help.
During their stay, clients will also be fed, have access to washrooms and showers. More details are available by contacting the Grind or visiting their website.
