Congratulations to the U10 Aces on winning the Sylvia Tremblett Memorial AA Regional Silver Stick in Georgina! The Aces crew headed down to Georgina, ON Dec 2nd-4th to compete in the Silver Stick. In round-robin play, the Aces had 2 wins and 1 loss, the only loss coming from the hands of the Vaughan Panthers.
After a semi-final 5-0 win the Aces were out for redemption and squared off in a rematch against the Vaughan Panthers in an absolutely classic final game. The game had end-to-end action with 3 lead changes through regulation ending in a 3-3 tie. After a 5-min overtime, the game went to 4 on 4, then 3 on 3, then 2 on 2 where Nate Elliot was able to score the tournament winner.
The U10s have now punched a ticket to the Newmarket International Finals Jan 26th-29th.
