Environment Canada is calling for above seasonal temperatures, but strong wind gusts this weekend.
A special weather statement has been issued covering Renfrew County and the City of Pembroke.
The special weather statement says strong winds from the south/southwest will gust up to 70 or 80 kilometers an hour (km/hour) starting late Saturday afternoon.
Environment Canada says an isolated gust up to 90 km/hour is also possible.
Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and isolated power outages are also possible.
Winds will begin to ease before dawn Sunday morning.
WEEKEND FORECAST
Saturday morning, wind gusts up to 40 km/hour are possible and temperatures will reach a high of 20 with a mix of sun and clouds.
Temperatures will top out at 19 degrees on Sunday with a mix of sun and clouds as clocks go back an hour for Daylight Saving Time.
Environment Canada says normal daytime highs in the Ottawa Valley this time of year are only six degrees.
