Phillip Ingram of Petawawa has won a million dollars.
Phillip has been playing the lottery for the past 50-years and says when he scanned his ticket the morning after the September 23rd draw on the OLG app he thought it was $1,000.
After scanning the ticket three or four times Ingram says he realized it was $1,000,000.
The 69-year-old painter says he told his spouse who was shocked after counting all the zeros.
Phillip plans to start travelling with his winnings.
The winning ticket was purchased at Mac’s on Petawawa Boulevard in Petawawa.
