A new sledge hockey program is launching in Arnprior.
This is thanks to a Jumpstart Community Development Grant worth $17,902.
Recreation Director Graeme Ivory says this will help grow recreation in Arnprior and provide accessible programming in the community.
Local sledge hockey coaches and Arnprior residents, Ryan and Amanda Harris, say they are so excited to bring another form of hockey to the community.
JR Tunison, the associate store dealer says the Arnprior Canadian Tire Team is very excited to work with the town to support this wonderful program.
Arnprior’s sledge hockey program is expected to start on November 17 and registration is now open to those aged 4-25 with a disability.
