Local police have charged a 26-year-old from Pembroke after responding to a break and enter in progress downtown Pembroke.
Around 12:30 a.m. on October 26, officers responded to the incident at a business on Pembroke Street West.
Officers arrested 26-year-old Logan Anthony Stevens a short distance away and police recovered stolen property.
Stevens was charged with break and enter and theft under $5000.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Pembroke Courthouse on November 29th.
