Monday’s election did not bring too much change to the Township of Horton.
Candidates and residents gathered at the Community Centre on Castleford road as the votes were being counted last night.
One person who didn’t have to worry was Mayor David Bennett, as he ran unopposed for a new term.
He’ll be flanked by three returning councilors as well: Tom Webster, Douglas Humphries, and Glen Campbell won re-election.
Daina Proctor is the only winning candidate in Horton Township that wasn’t an incumbent. She joins Webster, Humphries, and Campbell as a councilor.
