A young Quebec resident used the Renfrew vicinity to put his aggressive driving on display September 24th.
A number of motorists tipped police to what they’d seen, and Renfrew OPP caught up with him on Highway 17 near O’Brien Road about 6PM.
Konrad Simard, age 19, of Ouje-Bouboumou, QC, was charged with Impaired and Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code- and various offences pertaining to other acts- including both Novice and Young Driver, concentration over zero, driving with both cannabis and alcohol readily available and failure to surrender an insurance card.
He was released from custody with a court date slated for Renfrew on November 16th.
