Money talks when it comes to charity, and the Renfrew County Real Estate Board walked the walked at a recent golf tournament.
President-Elect Kristen Graves Kuiack gives us the rundown on the four community programs that the over $32,000 raised from the event is helping right now.
Kuiack also runs the golf committee for the RCDEB and says that they’re always looking for charitable efforts to help, both at their annual golf tournament and through initiatives year-round.
She adds that if you know any local programs that could use the support, don’t be afraid to get in touch with her or other members of the board.
This year’s edition of the RCDEB Charity Golf Tournament was in support of four charities: the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation will receive $10,000, while the Robbie Dean Centre, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Renfrew County, and Watch My Six Service Dogs will take an even split from the remainder of the pot.
