A rainfall warning is in effect for the Ottawa Valley as Environment Canada is calling for heavy showers throughout the day.
Our local forecast calls for anywhere from 40 to 60 millimeters of rain by the end of tonight, alongside the chance for thunderstorms late in the morning into the afternoon.
Flash flooding could occur in low-lying areas, and heavy downpours might cause lower visibility and pooling water on some roadways.
If visibility on the road is reduced while you’re driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
