The Renfrew Golf Club will try to take home the Gordon Cup this weekend.
The annual golf tournament started back in 1930 and has not missed an event in 93-years.
This year, the tournament will be held Saturday, September 10th and Sunday, September 11th at the Pembroke Golf Club on the shores of the Ottawa River.
The Pembroke Golf Club is also celebrating a special 100th anniversary milestone this year.
The public is invited out to watch the tournament this weekend.
The Renfrew Golf Club, Pembroke Golf Club, Arnprior – Sand Point Golf Club, Mississippi Golf Club and Deep River Golf Club all compete in the tournament.
Since 1930, the Renfrew Golf Club has won the Gordon Cup 36 times, Pembroke has won 29 times, Arnprior 19, Mississippi has six tournament wins and two for Deep River.
