The OPP has arrested and charged a resident from Renfrew County with a number of weapons related offences.
On September 2nd around 6:20pm, officers in Arnprior responded to a weapons call in the Greater Madawaska area.
64-year-old Richard Phillips of Greater Madawaska was charged with assault, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The accused was released from custody with a court date coming up October 19th in Renfrew.
