A 25-year-old from Brampton learned the hard way about stunt driving on Killaloe OPP patrolled roads.
Police tracked their pick-up truck going 144 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone along highway 41 in Bonnechere Valley Township around 11:00 in the evening last Wednesday, July 28th.
For the excessive speed, the driver was arrested one stunt driving charge. They’ve lost their license for 30 days as a result. Their truck is also impounded for the next two weeks.
The driver has a summons to appear in Killaloe for a future court date.
The OPP tell myFM that aggressive driving is the leading factor in fatal car crashes on roads that they patrol.
