A lone police car is all that remains of a massive police presence that blocked off Claude Street in Arnprior this morning.
Sources tell myFM that the matter began as an escalation of a landlord-tenant in Arnprior.
It is believed that the landlord’s brother, who was attempting to make repairs to the dwelling, got into a possible altercation with two tenants- who subsequently barricaded themselves inside.
Police blocked off Claude Street at both the Elgin Street East intersection and the McGonigal East corner, and cautioned people to stay away from the area due to the potential volatility of the situation which has since been resolved with two persons taken into custody.
As a result of the occurrence, Brian Fulljames, age 33 and Forest Jensen, 25- years of age (both of Arnprior) are in police custody.
The accused will be held for a bail hearing on July 16, 2022.
